At Fitzroy IT we’re big on community.

That’s why, having sponsored the Fitzroy Football Club for 10+ years, when the opportunity came up to also work with and sponsor the Fitzroy Victoria Bowling & Sports Club (FVBSC) in 2022 – we jumped at it.

Fun fact: we’ve actually got a long and storied history with the club, with Founder and CEO Tim even having his wedding reception there many moons ago!

With our sponsorships we like to make sure that we can provide value outside of just pure dollars and cents. That’s why, the main driver for the sponsorship was to build a new, fit for purpose website for the club that would help them achieve their business goals through more efficient use of technology.

To that end, we have been working with the club to rebuild their current site, allowing them to better manage what have traditionally been offline processes, reinvigorate their online presence with updated design, imagery and information architecture and build all of this on a scalable platform that will help in the immediate term, but also allows future enhancements as the club continues to grow The new site is due to be released in early 2024.

In return, we not only get to see the positive impact that our sponsorship can have on the club, their members and visitors, but we have a number of events throughout the year at one of the best barefoot bowling venues in Victoria - so get down and support the FVBSC if you can - you won’t regret it.
