The Fitzroy Football Club, established in 1883, holds a special place in history as a founding member of the Victorian Football League back in 1897. With the distinction of winning the first VFL grand final, Fitzroy stands alone as the only club to have competed in the VFA, VFL, AFL, and VAFA.
Today, the club thrives as an integral part of the Fitzroy community, proudly fielding both men's and women's teams in the Victorian Amateur Football Associaltion - Australia's largest community football competition.
